The company has 3 large scale concessions of over 300 km2 each. At present I work as the manager of all geological activities in the company, with my local team, on an area in the center of Cote d’Ivoire, a place called Sakassou. We have mapped the area and made a vast soil sampling project with encouraging results.We are mapping trenches of small scale activities. Due to positive results we will continue with trenching, drilling and geophysical studies.

ROVED GEOLOGY is a consulting firm active since 1994, led by Dr. Ram Ben-David, (PhD from the Hebrew University – Institute of Earth Sciences), which deals with various aspects relating to applied geology including:1. Geological studies for the development of gold and diamond mines in Ghana, Guinea, Sierra Leon and more.2. Geological studies for the development of quarries serving the building industry. During the past decade we completed various projects in the field of Dimensional Stone in the Middle East and Africa. 3. Economic and profitability studies of potential mines, particularly for industrial raw materials like diamonds, copper, and quartz in China.4. Engineering geology - geotechnical studies for roads and buildings as well as for earthquake hazards. Many of the projects deal with slope stability along sea-shore and roads.5. Environmental studies including water resources, soil and water contaminations.In all our studies ROVED uses the most advanced knowledge and technology available including remote sensing (aerial photos as well as SMI), GIS geophysical investigations, various drilling methods, monitoring and, above all, sensitive field work that results in accurate geological data, maps and sections.
