Worked as a "Rsearch Associate" and completed my M.Pharma Thesis work for the deveopment of Drugs for "Diabetic Retinopathy" (“Management of Experimental Diabetic Retinopathy with Certain Herbal Drugs and Their Possible Molecular Mechanisms”) under the guidence of Prof. (Emeritus Scientist) Dr. SK Gupta and Director Dr. SS Agrawal (DIPSAR). During this period I gained an extensive knowledge of Pre-clinical and Clinical studies. I also learned various analytical method (Bio-chemical eg. ELISA, Auto-Analyser and Chemical method like UV-Spectroscopy, Flame Photometry, FTIR, HPLC etc.). I also learned to take slides for retinal tissue for observation for Electron Microscoy, Immuno-histochemistry, use of Slit Lamp to take the picture of Retina and its blood vessal changes to learn effect of Drugs in the treatment of Retinopathy, measurement of intraocular pressure by Non Contact Tonometer etc.

Had a responsibility to check and perform regular calibration of HPLC and LC/MS on routine basis.Method development and prestudy method validation of bioanalytical methods of analysis for various NCE's and drug substances using LC-MS/MS and HPLC.Pharmacokinetic Studies for NCE's and drug substances in various animal and human biological matrices like rat blood, rabbit blood, rabbit plasma, tissue homogenates, human blood, human plasma etc. using LC-MS/MS.Bioavailability and Bioequivalence Studies for drug substances in various human biological matrices like blood, plasma, serum etc. using LC-MS/MS.Well experienced in Chromatographic Techniques specially reversed phase chromatography using Mass Spectrometer, UV-Visible detectors, Photo-diode array detectors, Fluorescence detectors etc.Operation, Maintenance and Calibration of LC-MS/MS system (API-3000 and 4000 PE-SCIEX) and HPLC systems (Shimadzu and LC-2010 HPLC system )Preparation of SOP's for instruments and bioanalytical applications.Preparation of SOP's for the analytical methodology as soon as the method is developed.
