I am an occupational health, safety and environment ( HSE) professional working in the construction sector of Nepal. I have expertise in the policy formulation, monitoring and operationalization of the HSE sector since last 28 years. Now I am working with nine International Lenders such as World bank, ADB, IFC, Asian Infrastructure Development Bank, Korea Development Bank, Export-Import Bank of Korea, Netherlands Development Finance Company, ROAPRCO Development Financial Institution and The OPEC Fund for International Development and other world class contractor companies such as DOOSAN, Power China and Andritz. I am always innovative in HSE sector. I have contributed in the construction sites especially in the hydropower and tunneling sector of Nepal. I am interested to conduct research, generate innovative ideas and develop policy guidelines that are applicable in the hydropower and other construction sites. I am interested to generate evidences through research and translate them into action to promote occupational health, safety and environment. My major focus now are in psychosocial health, ergonomics of the workers working in different settings though the change in their behavior to adopt safety practices . Now I am engaged in carrying out research on school safety for my Ph.D. I am dedicated to identify the policy gaps and address them though the collaborative action with the government private sector, not only in Nepal, but beyond. I believe in learning and sharing experiences. I am committed to scaleup the OHSE concerns in the state and society.
