I was a part of one of the most successful teams in Training and Placements in Central India. I was involved planning for training of students in various core subjects of their respective branches and soft skills training. Job responsibility also involved interaction and communication with various recruiters across India and organizing campus placement drives for students.As a teacher engaged lectures for M. Tech (Structural Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering) students on subjects like Engineering Computational Techniques and Research Methodology. Had a wonderful feedback from the students in the process.

NMIMS is one of the leading institutes in education that imparts quality education. Shirpur campus, situated in Dhule district, was established in 2006. Though the students were good in numbers and quality, it was a challenge to lead the department that was established in recent past with various laboratories needed to be developed and that too with less than 50 % of the required faculty strength on roll. Had a planned programme for establishment of laboratories taking into consideration the expertise of the existing faculty members in establishing and maintaining respective laboratories. Next year convinced top management to have requisite number of faculty members recruited in the department for smooth conduction of academics. I had conducted workshops for first year students to identify their learning styles and helped my faculty team to deal with students with different learning styles.Must admit that, in the process, I was not able to consolidate the Research and Development attitude amongst my faculty team including me.Member of BOS and academic council of the university.

Fabtech Technical Campus’ College of Engineering and Research, Sangola was established in 2011. It was a real challenge for me as a faculty as well as a Head of Department. The laboratories of the department were needed to be developed right from planning stage and it was a challenge to orient students towards proper learning practices since they were from one of the backward areas in rural Maharashtra. Proud to have initiated purchase process of quality instruments required for various civil engineering laboratories. Got the budget sanctioned for Rs. 77 lacks to establish new laboratories for all civil engineering requirements and supervised the process of establishment of laboratories in the department. During this empowered junior faculty members to deal with the process so that all the laboratories can be maintained state of the art in forthcoming years.Engaged separate pedagogical methods for slow learners in the department and supervised the implementation of the methods personally. Proud to have delivered one of the best results from the departmental students in University examinations conducted by Solapur University. It was a real achievement to see ordinary getting transformed to extra ordinary.Was instrumental in establishing various administrative systems and practices in the institute (Feedback mechanism, NBA preparations, Documentation, leave rules and mechanisms etc) with support from Principal.

Taught Structural Analysis. Was the Students' activity in charge for the department for 3 years. Was the in charge of ISO certification of the department and was co coordinator of NBA accreditation process of the department.

Was actively involved in contacts with the various organizations that can recruit the graduates from our institute. Was involved in designing training module for the graduates to fit the requirements by the future employers.

It was the beginning of my career as a teacher. Strived hard to develop subject knowledge and accommodate teaching pedagogies to establish me as a good teacher amongst students. Taught and array of subjects like Structural Analysis, Transportation Engineering, Surveying-I, Building Design And Drawing and Engineering Mechanics. Almost all the years received “Excellent” (Above 80 %) grade in students’ feedback.I used to be one of the organizers of survey camp for S.E. students at Khandala. The work involves laying out curves, tacheometric contouring, traversing, road survey project. Offered consultancy service “Laying out curves for the approach road on Airoli side of Airoli-Mulund bridge”:M/s Mahalaxmi Constructions, CIDCO, March 1996, Consultancy amount Rs.11,000. with colleagues and help from students.I worked as incharge of Testing and Consulatncy for Material Testing laboratory as a part of consultancy services offered by the college to various construction companies like AFCONS, Unity Infrastructures, and Govt. organizations like CIDCO, MHADA, MSRDC, BMC, TMC, NMMC. The duties involved were the testing of materials like steel reinforcement bars, aggregates, cement, cement tiles, cement concrete cubes etc. Duties also invoved providinga mix design for a particular requirement.
