Led implementation of the European Union (EU) funded UNIDO Project on Employment and Entrepreneurship Development for Migrant Youth, Refugees, Asylum Seekers and Host Communities in Khartoum State of Sudan. Project aimed to support at least 2,500 youths with marketable vocational skills and business development support services. We introduced dual-training system and strengthened capacities of the vocational training centers as well as partner organizations through curriculum review, training of staffs; supporting new equipment, etc. to deliver quality training program.Primarily responsibilities: -coordination with donors, stakeholders and partners; -developing annual work plan and budget, procurement of goods and services, -recruitment of national staffs;-conducting training need assessments of beneficiaries and government officials; -supervision, guidance and performance monitoring of international and national staffs;- introducing concept of dual training system at vocational training centers and private companies;-organizing meetings and workshops; -preparing periodic progress reports;-preparing and implementing communication and visibility plans, etc.

Led execution of projects implemented by UNIDO with funding from the EU, Government of Canada and UN- Peace Building Fund. Projects were to support youths and women with vocational skills whereas farmers were supported to improve productivity, value addition and marketing of produce. Managed implementation of UNIDO component of FAO-UNIDO Integrated Food Security Project funded by Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture in Kassala State of Sudan.Roles and responsibilities: -coordination with FAO, Ministry of Agriculture and other stakeholders; -developing annual work plan and budget, procurement planning;-plan and conduct training need assessments; -establishing agro processing centers; -recruitment, supervision, guidance and performance monitoring of international and national staffs; -organizing meetings and workshops; -preparing progress reports, implementing communication and visibility plans, etc.

Led setting-up and implementation of joint UNIDO-ILO project funded by the UN Trust Fund for Human Security in Mauku Province of Indonesia. Project was to promote peace and revitalize local economy through village organizations, sustainable livelihood development and technology transfer.I was mainly responsible for:-coordination with ILO, government officials and other stakeholders; -developing annual work plan & budget; procurement planning & budgeting;-conducting training need assessments of beneficiaries and stakeholders; -recruitment, supervision, guidance and performance monitoring of international and national staffs;-organizing meetings & workshops; -preparing progress reports, preparing and implementing communication & visibility plans, etc.

Supported implementation of UNIDO skills for peace and income (SKIPI) project funded by the Government of Japan through the UN Trust Fund for Human Security (UNTFHS) in northern Uganda. Main objective of the project was to support ex-combatants, veterans, youths and women through marketable vocational skills and related support for business development.Main responsibilities were:-coordination with implementing partners, government officials and other stakeholders; -developing annual work plan and budget; -establishing training facilities;-conducting training need assessments of beneficiaries; -recruitment, supervision, guidance and performance monitoring of national staffs; -organizing meetings and workshops; -preparing progress reports. etc.

Supported implementation of the UNIDO community livelihoods and rural industry support project funded by the Government of Japan through UN Trust Fund for Human Security. Main goal of the project was to improve agricultural productivity and establishing agro processing units at village level for value addition and income generation. The artisans and service providers were also supported to improve their capacity for service delivery and sustainability of project.Main responsibilities were:-organizing farmers into producer groups, -training of farmers and service providers on improved technologies, -establishing agro processing centers, and manufacturing facility for improved agricultural implements, -preparing progress reports, etc.

Main duties and responsibilities were:-design, development, testing, and commercialization of improved agricultural implements suitable for the northeastern region of India; -implementation of projects funded by The World Bank, ICAR, and institute projects; -organizing training and demonstration activities for the farmers and state government officials; -preparing research articles and extension materials; etc. -establishing a new CAD & agro-processing facility at the institute.

As Cane development Officer I was assigned to arrange demonstration and testing of improved machinery for sugarcane mechanization at farmers' field; training of farmers on use of improved machinery for sugarcane cultivation and awareness raising among farmers about early maturing verities and can quality, area expansion under early maturing varieties, etc.
