- Providing on-line and on site personality development and core management skills training. - Providing consultancy and advisory services for improving operational efficiency of enterprises.- Providing consultancy and advisory services for optimizing the rules, regulations, instructions, guidelines and laws of the nations to make them citizen centeric and business friendly.

Responsibility: All India in-charge of 34 Telecom Enforcement, Resource and Monitoring (TERM) cells.Achievement: Conducted one of its first type all India Conference on team building and leadership of all senior officers of TERM cells, officers from DOT and executive from Telecom industry. During the conference besides developing team building and leadership skills, a solution to the problem associated with a real life regulatory issue was worked out in half a day with the consensus of all, which was lingering in the department for years together. In the solution 45 pages regulatory instructions were reduced to mere three pages instructions.

- Deal with public grievance of all Telecom Service Providers and different units of DOT- Prepare and review system, processes and procedures to deal with public grievances.Major Achievements: In a short span of three months of taking over the charge, pending grievances in PG cell of DOT were reduced by more than 50% from 9,000 to 4,000, where it has stabilized now at an optimum level.

- Dealing with International Relations pertaining to Telecom- Coordinating with International Agencies like ITU, APT etcAchievement: India's position was strengthened at International fora by projecting India as a thought leader in the area of Internet Governance and telecom security.

Responsibilities: - To oversee all the aspects related to telecom network security, including implementation of network security related projects. - To co-ordinate the work of all the 34 TERM Cells in the country. - To maintain liaison with security agencies and frame policy guidelines w.r.t. telecom network security related issues - To coordinate the work of C-DoT- Was the Government nominated Director on TCIL Board.Major Achievements:- Started security division in DOT and initiated important projects like Centralized Monitoring System (CMS), Secured and Dedicated Communication Network (SDCN), Telecom Testing and Security Certification (TTSC) scheme etc. Security division became one of the most important divisions in DOT in a short span of time virtually from scratch. - Architect of Telecom security framework under which first time in the World, Telecom security guidelines were prepared which helped 3GPP to open a special security group. - The inspection schedules and inspection targets were rationalized to be relevant and more practical. This helped in quick testing of network for meeting roll out obligation by TSPs.- Number of ‘Notes for Telecom Commission’ related to formulations of policies and for implementation of policies were prepared, including the one for setting up of Centre of Excellence for Radio Spectrum Engineering and Management. - Performance of C-DOT was reviewed regularly and as a result C-DOT performance improved considerably and, sustenance of C-DOT became possible..- A unique initiative of conducting tripartite workshops in which security agencies, Telecom Service Providers (TSP) and DOT participated was taken. Under this initiative number of all India and Zonal workshops were conducted. These workshops helped in solving many network security related issues of TSPs and Security Agencies. - First time from India four contribution were made to ITU in Study Group 17.

During different period of time in-charge GM of planning, maintenance & operation of an area and vigilance in MTNL Delhi.Major Achievements: - As GM (Planning) by revising all cable and building plans reduced the capital budget by more than 35%, thus affecting a saving of about Rs 125 Crores for 2005-06 over a total capital outlay of Rs 350 Crores on these heads.- Dramatic improvement in performance parameters in North District of MTNL Delhi in a short time. For example, same day clearance was increased from 60% to around 95% within period of two months of my taking over as GM (North) and fault rate reduced from 12/100 telephones/month to 8/100 telephones/month within six months. Similarly, financial parameters also improved significantly. Expenditure on cable maintenance was reduced by 30%, outstanding reduced to the extent of 70% and broadband revenue increased to 30%.- As GM (vigilance) Introduced the concept of reformative vigilance.

- In-charge of quality assessment of all Telecom projects of DOT in northern region of India.- Administrative head of T&D circle. Major Achievements:- Streamlined and digitized the acceptance and testing schedules first time.- Brought down the acceptance and testing time by 30% by introducing the concept of Total Quality Management (TQM).

-Procurement of cables and other material used in access network. Major Achievement- Handled smoothly the biggest civilian tender of India for procurement of PIJF cables without any criticism generally associated with such big tenders. -Decentralized the procurement of large number of items, so that field units can procure the items in time as per their needs.

- Overall Incharge of Telecom operations, maintenance and projects for the districts of Farrukhabad and Kanuj. Major Achievements:Successfully introduced the concept of Mobile Single Window Service (MSWS) by organizing field camps for Telecom first time in India and a record was set by providing telephone connection in less than 45 minutes right from the stage of selling the form to providing the telephone connection.

- Prepare career development plans for senior officers of Q-Tel.- Develop, supervise and conduct Management Training programmes for senior officers of Q-Tel.- Develop the infrastructure for the training center. Major Achievements:Established a brand new training centre at Doha, Qatar and built up the management and career development division in Q-Tel from scratch and took it to the pinnacle by obtaining accreditation for NVQ 3 & 4 of AAT, NVQ3, 4 & 5 from Institute of Supervision and Management (ISM), UK and accreditation of MBA degree from Derby University, UK, while working with Q-Tel, Doha.
