Represented SBU, IAG and the JV to set up the IT function for the JV.Had the opportunity to work closely with Senior Executives of SBI namely, Arundhati Bhattacharya and O.P.Bhatt (former Chairpersons of SBI), RR Belle, Bhaskar Sharma, Pushan Mahapatra etc on this JV establishment. Established the first Chief Data and Information Management Office in India (2009) across any industry resulting in the appointment of the first Chief Data Officer in India across any industry and one of the first in Asia @ SBI General Insurance. Led the Tech and data strategy and execution for the organization and operationalized them. The work won many global best practice awards.

Fujitsu Australia Software Technology - A commercial R&D arm of Fujitsu Japan (and the only one outside of Japan) responsible for designing, building and releasing Fujitsu's global commercial products such as Fujitsu RDBII, Jasmine, Symphoware, etc. Was part of commercial products research and development core team. We were the biggest Java development house in Australia and our team contributed significantly to the version 1.0 of JDBC. RDB2 Database commercial product of Fujitsu was developed 100% using Java by our team. Jasmine is the object oriented database product of Fujitsu.

Was the biggest AI and intelligent systems R&D Group in Australia. CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation) is one of the world’s largest and No.1 research organisation in Australia employing over 7,000 scientists across various fields. CSIRO invented the WiFi.In 1991, the lab had over 60 people working on AI R&D work. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning based techniques were used to solve complex business problems (that could not be solved through traditional approaches) for various industry verticals.One of our key AI project (1992) was using big data (30+ year data set with daily transactions - structured, unstructured and sensor data), applied 7 leading Machine Learning algorithms on the data set to create predictive models, picked the best performing model and implemented the decision rules generated and operationalised them in a decision support system of a large Australian federal government division. We used Australian Federal Government’s Cray Super Computer (for speed and power) to train our ML models. We partnered and worked closely with some of the pioneers in the field of AI and Machine Learning.
