Passionate about machine data and operational intelligence. • Experience in understanding splunk 5.x and 6.x product, Distributed splunk architecture and components including search heads, indexers,forwarders. • Poof-of-concepts on splunk implementation of the splunk app for enterprise security and documented best practices for the installation and performed knowledge transfer on the process. • Hands on experience with installing and using splunk apps for Unix and Linux (splunk nix). • Experience on data analytics, advanced data analytics, visualization, advanced visualization, dashboard customization and advanced data customization in splunk. • Splunk enterprise deployments and enable continuous integration (CI) as part of configuration using (props.conf,Trsnsforms.conf,input.conf & output.conf,deployment.conf) management. • Experience in create and manage splunk DB connects identities, database connections, database inputs, outputs, lookups, access controls. • Strong scripting experience in one or more of the following scripting languages (C#, Python, Java and PowerShell) • Experience with database management systems (Oracle, SQL,POSTGRESS), Java and Middleware Software Support Experience • Experience in Technology infrastructure, such as Network, Monitoring, Systems, Databases, etc. • Deep knowledge in logging/application monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, , etc.) • Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions • Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems • Knowledge of Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) such as Pivitol Cloud Foundry (PCF), Google Cloud (GCP) • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (Bamboo, GitHub, Harness) • Experience with Git, jira and related Atlassian stack (confluence, stash, hipchat) • Experience working with html/web based technologies and the monitoring of it via synthetic test tools.
