• As the Lead Engineer for Warranty and Reliability, developed engineering solutions for customer complaints received from the market and managed their implementation. Starting from the analysis of failure data received from market, identified the data patterns/geographic factors/production factors which caused reported warranty concerns using tools such as 8D Analysis, Ishikawa diagram etc. Developed engineering solutions to resolve root causes in coordination with Designers, Production team and Suppliers. Successfully reduced the failures per thousand vehicles (IPTV) from 55.3 to 13.5 by preparing Design Guidelines.• As a Design Engineer for closures, developed a Data Driven Approach for Target Weight Setting using Principal Component Analysis and Linear Regression, helping optimize weight and achieve 5-star safety rating for Nexon, Altroz and Punch.• Developed Virtual Mechanism Design Automation and Optimization tools in MATLAB and CATIA, using Genetic Algorithm. Using the tools, designed and optimized the Trunk lid mechanism and Four-bar mechanism of 2 projects, reduced the development time by 4 week and capital expenditure by 20 lakhs.• Team Lead for the development of Smart Jockey – a copyrighted algorithm that enriches the music experience in car by automatically switching to an FM station playing music content - using Deep Neural Networks and Neuroevolution of Augmenting Topologies (NEAT) algorithm.• Won First and Third place in Imagineering, An Annual Innovation Competition of TATA Motors - Engineering Research Centre, which saw over 600 entries.• Secured First place in TATA Crucible Hackathon 2020, for conceptualization and presentation of Smart Ride Technology.• Honored with Outstanding Contribution Award for two consecutive years, in recognition of efforts towards Innovation.• Honored with Silver Team Award for displaying Leadership behaviour in Customer Centricity.
