Our tendering process is fast, efficient and comprehensive. In my role at Carbon Energy, I successfully architected this business to service the energy needs of the Western Australian and East Coast market. I am mainly concerned with generating a winning culture within the business sales team while building a solid and streamlined business process. Ever since I took the helm of this organisation we have improved our efficiency and costs. This organisation now operates on very sophisticated IT infrastructure. Our activities are based on a customer-focused philosophy. At Synergy I was responsible for managing a portfolio of Industrial and Commercial customers with spend level from $500,000 to $2,000.000 per annum. My customers comprised of local governments to large mining companies. In this role I have experienced dealing with many people from different backgrounds and roles, from Operation Managers to C level executives. My daily activities were filled with extensive contract and pricing negotiations. Some negotiations can be performed in less than 48 hours and some may take up to 12 months. This is mainly due to the complexity of the legal and pricing requirements of both parties. Energy market is a highly regulated industry. We were regulated by code of conduct to supply and retail license compliance rules. As a professional I need to comply with these requirements. I have extensive knowledge in contract law, trade practice act and privacy act. I am a very skill full sales person and have attended numerous sales training courses at Synergy. I enjoy having intellectual conversations with my customers and respect differences in values and/or opinions.

At Telstra I was responsible for their acquisition and retention team through Telesales. Our customers range from residential to Small Medium Enterprise with spend level up to $10,000 per annum. During my time with Telstra I learnt valuable techniques on how to close sales over the phone. This technique what they called Exceed, has boost my confidence and improved my telephone sales technique. The use of benefit selling to understand customer and provide solutions is a powerful approach.

At EFtel I was in charge of their re-seller program. My main duties were to recruit re-sellers to promote EFTel's broadband and telephony products and build extensive network of solid re-seller. Here I learnt some essential knowledge in the networking and broadband provisioning process. This technical knowledge complement my sales and analysis skills. During my employment with EFTel I was able to utilise my knowledge in the local market by recruiting Curtin University Guild Office as our active re-seller. This strategy proven to drive more than 40 broadband sales per month.
