Heading a diversified team for the Automotive Fastening development and Electric Vehicle components development activities across US and Europe Customers. Handling projects of Plastic fasteners in coordination with R&D teams of Germany and Michigan for automotive clients from Europe and US like Mercedes , BMW , Ford etc. . Packaging feasibility , fixation feasibility , Tooling feasibility , material selection and Testing requirements are the areas of focus during the new product development.Standardization , Benchmarking and Library creation is also one of my area of work for the design time reduction .

Handling the projects of Outer rear view mirror and inner rear view mirror from pre development till SOP, in accordance with ECE-R46 and FMVSS 111. Main area of work ::1) Coordinating with the cross functional team like styling , aero-acoustics , aerodynamics etc. for pre development.2) Responsible for the Predevelopment of the Outside rear view mirror and inside rear view mirror primarily for fixation methodology .3) Handling Global supplier ( Hungary , Germany etc. ) and coordinating with them over product development , timelines for vehicle built , testing and for proper deliverables hence meeting the timelines.Learning experience in terms of Overall product lifecyle management virtually at a global level .

Leading the ORVM and IRVM projects for the Indian OEMs like Mahindra , Maruti etc . Coordination internally with the Tooling and quality departments to ensure successful launch of the products in the market. Handling the customer meetings and addressing their requirements for ontime deliverables and meeting the milestones . Responsible for the Homologation of the parts and the BOM management .Handling all Release management activities for proper record and documentation. Organizing Departmental meetings for DFMEA and Examining DVPs for proper testing of the product. Responsible from the concept development till the SOP of the part so a whole product lifecycle management .Also got an opportunity to not only design but do the modal analysis and static force analysis on altair suit for the product on solver like Radioss and meshing in Hypermesh .

Worked for different concept developments for door handles , fuel filler assemblies and Head rest sleeves for clients TJC, Lear, Tata and MARUTI. Worked extensively on CATIA . Coordination with Quality department for fixture design and painting jigs . As we had in-house injection molding machines so got the first hand experience to analyse the parts designed by myself . Automotive plastic part designing for top OEM in India and understanding the requirements , modification and implementing it successfully was my core area . Preparation of BOM and change management was part of my projects.
