Being the independent director of the largest Railway PSU, I was the chairman of the Audit Committee for over 2 years. Apart from this, i was a member of the NRC and CSR committees. I laid down the office on 28.7.2022

I was the independent director of the largest railway PSU in India. I was head of the Audit committee, CSR committee for two years. I had a satisfying period when I was able to bring the internal audit and the GST procedures up to date. It was also satisfying when the long pending GST issue was resolved during my period.My greatest satisfaction was when the management tried very hard to extend my term as it ended in July 22, by the time the government had appointed some others as the IDs.

Special counsel appointed by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) for the Bengaluru Region, comprising all the southern states under the 5 High courts and the 4 Income TAx Appellate Tribunals.The appointment was for the period July 2018 to June 2021
