I invest in climate and sustainability companies at Amasia, a venture capital firm I co-founded in 2013. I chair the Board of Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania. As Penn Board Chair, I also serve on the boards of Penn Medicine and the Penn Investment Office. I was formerly Chair of the Board of Advisors of Penn’s School of Arts and Sciences. I serve on the Advisory Council of the Natural Capital Project at Stanford University. I have been the seed funder or board member of several non-profits including SF Goodwill, Magic Bus India, and the Housing and Community Development Committee of San Mateo County. I have a B.S.E. in Computer Science and Engineering, a B.S. in Economics, and a Master of Liberal Arts, all from Penn.
