DeCore (DeCore Nano Semiconductors and DeCore Science & Technologies Ltd) is a leading Indian manufacturer of high-quality LED lighting solutions. With state-of-the-art chip fabrication, packaging, and manufacturing facilities capable of producing 400 million LED dies annually, we offer a comprehensive range of products, including HB-LED modules/packages, PCB modules, and custom-designed luminaires meeting architectural standards and specifications. Backed by over USD 200 million in funding from IFCI Ventures, IDFC Private Equity, IDBI Bank, and EXIM Bank, we have achieved significant success, generating USD 84 million in sales over two years across EMEA, India, and Southeast Asia, and securing USD 35 million in annual sales through custom solar PV and LED lighting projects. Successfully launched and managed rural development projects centered around LED lighting and solar off-grid solutions, scaling up to 5 MW capacity. (SpiceGas was acquired by Spice Energy UK in January 2010). Key accomplishments include conceptualizing and implementing the SpiceGas solar PV and power generation business, resulting in 7 operational sites (1-5 MW each) and 82 sites with government-approved licenses. As the sole Indian company to win government tenders for setting up CNG/LPG/solar PV infrastructure and distribution points, I possess deep expertise in this sector.

Led the development and execution of a USD 1.2 billion annual Value Added Services business within a USD 7 billion+ company. This encompassed all aspects of franchised and company-owned retail operations, including contract negotiation, cross-functional management, and oversight of a 20-person team across Mumbai, Chennai, and Delhi. Responsibilities included software development, hardware deployment, greenfield development, and retail sales. Significant achievements include successfully applying proprietary technology across multiple industries, scouting and selecting retail locations in six major metropolitan areas (increasing retail presence from 9,000 to 15,000 locations), and securing government tenders for national and local lotteries in Africa, Australia, and Southeast Asia.
