CurrentReporting analyst in forensic disciplines of body fluid identification and DNA profiling.• Performed analysis and reported on more than 850 crime cases for local law enforcement.• Anchor scientist managing and coordinating requests from and conducting stakeholder engagement sessions for 4 police divisions.Project lead for use of massively parallel sequencing in forensics.• Led a team of scientists and lab officers to process & sequence more than 1300 samples.• Extensive data analysis leading to 3 poster presentations and 2 oral presentations at international forensic conferences, and 2 papers in an international forensic journal.Project lead for the validation and implementation of Y-STR testing for DNA profiling, and heavy involvement in validation and implementation of Y-STR testing in reference DNA databasing.• Preparation and submission of more than 1500 Y-STR haplotypes to the Y-Chromosome Haplotype Reference Database.Lectured on forensic genetics at National University of Singapore (NUS) and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).• Invited guest lecturer for undergraduate module on Molecular Genetics at NUS (2016 – 2019).• Lecturer for undergraduate module on Advanced Forensic Science at NUS (2021).• Lecturer for graduate law module on Introduction to Forensics at SUSS (2017 – present).Certified internal auditor for ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board accreditation requirements (AR 3125).
