Over the course of my career, I have worked in two primary industries, sales and office coordination. While on the surface, they may seem like very different jobs some of the core skills required are similar. In both jobs, you are required to build relationships, gain the trust of the customer, deliver a service and ensure all administrative paperwork is organized.Through my work, I have developed outstanding project management skills, ability to prioritize while managing multiple projects and meet assigned deadlines. I have a strong work ethic, am a skilled communicator and have a reputation for integrity and maintaining absolute confidentiality. For 12 years while working as a Sales Representative in the consumer goods area, I received multiple awards and bonuses for meeting or exceeding my yearly targets. My responsibilities grew as I achieved results.Two years ago, I returned to work after being a stay at home mom and began working as a part-time Office Manager for a new occupational therapy clinic, Little Buddies Pediatric. My responsibilities have grown as I have not only deliver on the task but initiated ways to improve and enhance the office systems. When I was hired, I helped create the administrative systems and processes including the filing system, set up of the database, payroll, generating budgets, scheduling, providing information to the clients and juggling multiple conflicting priorities. The organization has expanded to two offices with nine staff and continues to grow, as do my responsibilities.
