I have completed 5 years of experience in the social development sector, primarily focused on child development programs in Uttar Pradesh. I hold a B.Tech from SRMCEM, Lucknow, and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Work (MSW).Presently, I serve as the Program Manager at Sarthak Foundation, Lucknow. My responsibilities include managing the Yellow SLATEs and Yellow Rooms projects, where I work closely with government schools to improve foundational literacy and numeracy. I oversee the implementation of the Child Development Sponsorship Program and provide guidance and technical support to educators in delivering quality sessions. I also monitor daily activities through the organization's M&E system to ensure program goals are met.Throughout my tenure, I have coordinated with government and private schools to facilitate admissions and mainstream underprivileged children through the Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA). I collaborate with the sponsorship-raising team, establishing connections between individual sponsors and children to support their education. Additionally, I provide technical support to educators for using the project’s MIS, ensuring data collection and maintenance on a regular basis. I closely monitor the educators' work plans, ensuring timely completion of tasks.I have actively engaged with urban slum communities, organizing interactive meetings with parents, ward members, and frontline service providers to emphasize the importance of education and foster relationships between field staff and the community. I also assist in preparing monthly and quarterly progress reports based on field activities.During the COVID-19 lockdown, I facilitated medical assistance sessions with doctors, children, and families in the Yellow Rooms. I managed supply chains and supported field teams in distributing essentials, including medicines, oximeters, thermometers, dry rations, and stationery for sponsored children, all provided by donors.At DAMAS Info Pvt. Ltd., I contributed by drafting data collection tools, training field staff on data collection formats, and ensuring smooth data gathering processes.Earlier in my career, I worked as a Physics teacher in private schools in Lucknow. During this time, I developed study materials, examination modules, and was part of the student counseling committee, which played a pivotal role in shaping my focus on child development.
