As a System Developer at TheFashionBay.org, I was responsible for the development and implementation of all IT components, including managing the website and database to ensure seamless integration and functionality. I played a key role in event planning, acting as a liaison between designers, artists, and fashion labels to promote collaboration and consistency for each event. This assignment later led to my position at Diemonde, one of the brands that joined TheFashionBay project.The overarching goal and mission of The Fashion Bay was to democratize the traditionally exclusive fashion scene in Sweden. We aimed to open this elite world to a broader audience, breaking down barriers that had previously limited access. Our efforts were fruitful, culminating in a significant achievement: the subsequent year's fashion week was the first digital one in its history. This monumental shift allowed for a more inclusive participation, enabling individuals who were not traditionally part of the fashion world to attend and engage with the event, thereby realizing our vision of a more accessible and inclusive fashion industry.
