I WAS leading a team of Managers and Senior Engineers to achieve the targets set to achieve budgetary cost goals defined in terms of Power and fuels cost, Spares costs,Cost of Equipment Failure , Cost of Quality, Cost of safety through regular monitoring of related parameters, preventive maintenance , low cost kaizen and training.

I am leading the complete Maintenance function of the company and responsible for ensuring maximum machine availability to the manufacturing. My other responsibilities are cost-effective utilization of resources and increase plant productivity thru TPM, Kaizens and low cost automations. More functional responsibilities are budgetary planning, manpower training, plant safety and statuary adherence to environmental and safety regulations.I analyze MTTR,MTBF,Monthly Costs and present them in Monthly Review Meeting (MRM).The machines being maintained are Sakamura,Chun-Zu, National and Jern-Yao make Bolt Formers/Nut Formers,Charang-Gue make Thread Rolling machines, secondary operation machines like CNC turning centers,Centerless Grinders and Circular Thread Rolling machines,Sanyung Heat Treatment Furnaces and Auto Electroplating plant.I also look after utilities like DG sets, Screw Air Compressors,R.O. Plant , cooling Towers ,E.O.T.Cranes,Fork Lifts and Fume Extraction systems.

I looked after Preventive and Breakdown Maint.of Korean & Japanese make PLC based Hydraulic Low Pressure Die-Casting & Gravity Die-Casting M/cs, Melting & Heat-Treatment Furnaces, Fettling M/cs, E.O.T.Cranes, Fork Lifters.I also maintained inventory of critical spares .I used tools like MTBF,MTTR for finding the effectiveness of maintenance activities.Special thrust was given on kaizens and cost reduction activities.I ensured compliances with TS-16949 system and other safety regulations.

Responsible for Plant maintenance and tool room.I headed the maintenance team and lead them for preventive and breakdown maintenance of helical coil spring coiling machines, coil end grinding machines and other SPMs.

Rajpura(Pb) : A Sheet-Metal fabrication unit; vendor to Swaraj Mazda, Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala and Alcatel-; I was responsible for complete Mechanical Maint. of the company.I looked after preventive and breakdown maintenance of Mechanical Press Brakes,Hydraulic Power Presses,Thermic Fluid Heater and Powder Coating unit,Surface Treatment & Electro Plating plant,Air Compressors and D.G.set.I also worked briefly for erection and installation of British make PROTEUS CNC Punching Turret and Godrej make NC Press Brake.
