I am an investigative research professional with experience in the background screening industry. I was a late bloomer when it came to finding my niche in investigative research. I spent many years in different roles gaining numerous useful skills in customer service, sales, and communication, but never really finding my passion. In 2019 on the suggestion of trying a new career, I entered the world of research and background investigations. I found the work so interesting and exhilarating and I knew I had found where I was supposed to be. I transitioned in October 2021, from verification research to public records research with a focus on criminal records and reporting. I love getting to see the public records aspect of background screening. Providing clients with the knowledge they need to make their high risk decisions, is what drives me. Knowing that my work can help mitigate risk and keep their investments, environments, and workplaces safe gives me immense pride in what I do. I know the work I do is important. Growing up, I became an Eagle Scout. My time in the Boy Scouts of America taught me leadership, goal setting, and project management skills that I continue to use today. In my spare time I play guitar and am currently in a groove rock band playing local shows in Nashville.
