Spintronic Device Fabrication and material scientist (and Physicist), currently a specially appointed researcher at Tohoku University. Extensive experience in device fabrication and epitaxial growth of magnetic compounds and strongly correlated metal oxides for spintronic applications. Doctoral work on structural and magnetic properties of strongly correlated oxides including double perovskites for memory applications resulted in 30 peer-reviewed journal papers and 2 conference proceedings. I have hand on experience in thin film epitaxial growth (RHEED controlled PLD), cleanroom device fabrication tools (including dry transfer, oxygen plasma etching, e-beam lithography, photo-lithography), magnetic characterization, electrical characterization, structural analysis (including SEM, TEM, XPS, XRD, XAS), and dielectric measurements.My research interest includes the application of epitaxially grown semiconductors, complex transition metal oxides, and transition metal dichalcogenides for spintronic devices, electronic devices, and the development of new spin-orbit torque devices for magnetization switching and out-of-plane magnetic anisotropy.Has a good record of completing multiple academic research projects, and has outstanding interpersonal skills in a range of work settings with colleagues from different countries.
