Ramadas Menon (Ram) is associated with Prescinto Technologies as Co-founder and CTO, building an AI Powered Clean Energy APM Platform for Solar, Wind & Energy Storage with a mission to save a Billion tons of CO2.Prior to Prescinto, Ram was VP Technology and Analytics at BLP, responsible for leveraging advanced Data analytics and Machine Learning to provide meaningful data driven insights to our customers on Orion, the IoT based Analytics Platform for the Renewable Energy industry. Orion caters to some of the top names in the renewable energy space.Prior to BLP, Ram spent over 11 years with Mindtree in various Product development capacities. His recent assignments include managing a ~10M USD Gold account. The largest of his portfolio was non-linear Revenue sharing engagement between Mindtree and a Fortune 500 s/w product company, wherein this team runs the Product Management, Engineering and post release Support for the customer product. Revenue generated is shared between the customer and Mindtree. During the 3 years of his association with this product, due the sustained feature additions and product integrations, the product revenue leaped from 4M USD to ~10M. The revenue shares also suitably tilted in favour of Mindtree during this period. Additionally, his role in this account also spanned other products ranging in T&M and staff operations.Ram worked as Program Director, managing a team of 100+ resources across Bangalore & Pune; he is deeply technical and his technical knowledge accompanied by his strong business acumen has played a key role in turning around and making a success of a dying product.Ram was associated with AADHAAR, where he managed the Business Intelligence and Analytics for the worlds largest and most ambitious Citizen identity management scheme in the world. He was instrumental in developing the backbone of the UIDAI reporting and data analytics.Ram has over the last 20+ years in Product Engineering, worked on a variety of domains ranging from Renewable energy, Backup & Storage, Banking, Gaming, SCM and has successfully built differentiated s/w products and offerings with sharp focus on evolving market needs.
