In the summer of 2018, I was hired as a part-time graphic designer by an Amazon drop-shipping company called Crystal Lemon. Over the course of the past six months, I have advanced from being a graphic designer to a digital media specialist to a project manager. Throughout this time, I have gained knowledge of how Amazon operates in terms of sales, inventory shipping and handling, inventory storage and customer reviews. This valuable work experience has provided me with skills on how to work with e-commerce businesses in the future. These skills include data analysis, critical thinking, customer research, SEO, and project management.

I’ve worked as a senior graphic designer at Nan and Company Properties for two and a half years. I play a key role in creating meaningful brand strategies and marketing to promote Nan's brand.The marketing team has come up with plenty of strategies to catch people's attention and have people remember our image. My goals were to make sure our brand messaging and imagery was consistent across all of these strategies. I also wanted to leave a lasting impression on our audience, and spread our Nan name.Founded in 2014, Nan and Company Properties, Christie's International Real Estate is the industry leader in servicing the Houston real estate market, as well as foreign national clientele.Their goal is to modernize the buying and selling experience by cultivating a culture of communication, innovation, and integrity. Nan empowers agents with the support and leading-edge technology they need to succeed as they provide supreme market awareness that takes clients to the forefront of success through a seamless process. I’ve managed company branding and imaging across all marketing materials to ensure continued growth and exposure. The company has reached a $500 million financial milestone in 2021.Our marketing team made sure to design and cultivate boundary-pushing marketing designs for internal and external marketing for Nan. Nan’s social media has grown by 8k+ followers in the past three years.Finally, I created marketing materials for individual real estate agents. Compared to their previous brokers, most of the agents who join Nan have closed more deals.

I've assisted in developing an integrated marketing and communication strategy to increase brand awareness and ensure a consistent voice across all platforms. The FIG team and I collaborated on the marketing objectives to design print advertising and marketing pieces for internal and external audiences. Market research was collected to identify and reach potential customers, and it was the groundwork for to how to target and manage the day to day postings of social media platforms and engagement.

My role as a social media manager is to drive forward communication with our followers and community with memorable content. I coordinate with other team members to work with our marketing director in what direction we want to take with our social media pages. We run campaigns, giveaways, interviews, and other interactive content for our followers to engage with our pages.

This board position puts me in direct relation with many students who are interested in Coog Radio. I look for new music to add to the rotators, and I hold music meetings every week during the semester with Coog Radio members. These meetings are to engage standard members to participate and be involved Coog Radio through discussions. Events are managed periodically by music directors who are available to help.

I was an in-house graphic designer that works for the Center for Student Media. I create ads, logos, flyers, and other visual mediums to bring a message to the University of Houston student body.
