I worked as operator of 225 MW Hydro Electric power station located in Kakkayam, Kozhikode on contract basis. My role is to operate three 3x50 MW generators and its auxiliary equipment's properly.• Operation of 1*50MW and 2*50MW Hydroelectric generator as per the instruction from load dispatching center LD.• Checking of entire system health like oil level, break, low and high pressure, circuit breakers, auxiliary supply, cooling water pumps, step up transformer etc.• Operations of mechanical seal, maintenance seal and main inlet valve (MIV).• Sequence of operations to be followed for proper and safety operation of the plant.• Readings like Transformer temperatures, bearing temperature, pressure levels, oil level, and SF6 pressure, to be verified.• According to load demand load to be adjusted as per the instruction from plant operator or LD.
