In the capacity of Senior Engineer, handled various projects related to planning, detailed design of urban, semi-urban and rural water supply, sewerage and drainage system. I have been involved in preparation of environmental studies, feasibility studies, planning and design of water supply, sewerage systems, stormwater drainage system, water and wastewater treatment plants.I have a hands on experience on hydraulic modelling software's I.e., SewerGem, Icm infoworks 2D, HecRas (1D/2D) and Hammer. Apart from that I have carried out various hydrological, flood studies and hydraulic modelling. Prepare basin models by using HECGEO-HMS and inundation analysis using HECGEO-RAS. Water availability studies, flood routing studies, statistical prediction and consistency check of hydrological data, and derive IDF, and flow duration curves. Develop rainfall-runoff models, Spatial and Temporal distribution of design storm, frequency analysis, regional flood frequency analysis, Isohyetal maps etc. Identification of Hydropower Potential Sites. Also carried out the design of stormwater drainage networks, cross drainage structures, irrigation canals, and dam outlet works like irrigation conduit, intake structure, low-level outlets, and stilling basins. I possess extensive experience in the application of various types of models used in water resource management like rainfall-runoff modeling, flood inundation and floodplain mapping using 2-D models, and sedimentation modeling using 1-D models. I worked on hydrodynamic models like HEC-RAS for the modeling of various rivers of the Indus Basin and its tributaries. I also supervised various physical model studies of bridges, protection works, and channelization of rivers (RUDA) in Pakistan. Carried out studies for estimation of high flood levels for flood protection works and cross drainage structures in various projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Oman. Prepared concept design, feasibility reports, preliminary and detailed design reports, cost estimates and tender documents, contract agreements, and technical & financial proposals for several projects related to hydrology and hydraulics.
