My role and responsibilities can be summarized as follows:- Manage all aspects of projects including scope, program, budget, and quality. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.- Serve as a member of the Leadership Team (ELV) services. Contribute to strategic decision-making and provide expertise in the field.- Take ownership of responsibilities from concept to final design until the tender stage. Oversee and guide the project through each phase, ensuring its successful completion.- Provide project leadership by giving work direction and feedback to the backend team in South Africa.- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders to align projects with business objectives.- Undertake design responsibilities such as preparing design reports, specifications, and technical/commercial reports.- Prepare cost proposals, scope of works, and cost analysis for projects. Ensure accurate estimation of costs and provide cost-effective solutions. Conduct Value Engineering exercises to meet clients' budget requirements.- Prepare and present presentations at client meetings to discuss project requirements and progress. Effectively communicate project updates, address concerns, and maintain positive client relationships.- Liaise and coordinate with relevant Local Authority Departments to obtain necessary approvals at all stages of project design development.- Prepare proposals for sub-consultants and assist in appointing them. Ensure effective coordination and collaboration with sub-consultants throughout the project. - Proactively identify project and team-related issues. Provide motivation and effective leadership to the entire team, ensuring high levels of performance and productivity.- Participate in the recruitment and interview process for new engineers. Assist in setting up the ELV team in Global Design Centre - RSA, contributing to its establishment and success of the organization.

Familiarity with current market trends and enabling technologies in AV/IT & Security.* Designing ICT, Security, and Audio-Visual with the control system for large scale facilities such as Hotels, Museums, Auditoriums, Malls, and Mixed development project.* Design and calculation of Audio – BGM, Public Address, Video – Video Walls, Video distribution, Digital signage, Projection and Video/Audio conferencing.* Design of ICT & Security system – Structured cabling, Active network design, CCTV, Access control, Intrusion detection, Parking management system, Disabled Toilet Alarm, Intercom, Guest Room Management system and Home Automation System.* Produce technical AV/IT & Security related specifications.* Occasionally carry out site inspections and submittal reviews for AV/IT & Security projects.
