As the leader of Digi-Key’s technology team, I lead a brilliant team of strategists, developers and engineers who design and execute Digi-Key’s digital technology vision to fuel the world’s innovation. My team is responsible for the technology infrastructure that Digi-Key’s business is based on, from the global website with more than 12 million visitors per month to the technology infrastructure that supports picking, packing, and shipping more than 25,000 packages globally every day. Prior to joining Digi-Key in 2016, I spent nine years developing IT delivery strategy for Target. With more than 25 years of professional experience, 10 years in varied business functional roles, and 15 years in managing IT programs and projects, I’m a seasoned Agile mentor, consultant, speaker, manager, and developer in diverse environments and capacities. I’m also a strong cross-functional team builder with the ability to lead groups through complex challenges to implement precise solutions. I’ve built high-performing teams of varying sizes from 5 to 200 by successfully recruiting, coaching, and managing team member performance. I have extensive experience in all phases of software and systems lifecycle for package implementation, custom application development, and enterprise-level system integration.
