 Handling high value commercial Arbitration disputes. Handling Petition U/s 34, 36 and 37 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 before the District Court, High Courts and SLP in Supreme Court of India. Handling various types of litigations relating to the Mining industry, Steel,Power, Waste of Energy and infrastructure division before the Hon’ble Supreme Court, High Courts, National Green Tribunal, District Courts, and other judicial and quasi- judicial. Review of pending cases and ensure reduction in number of litigations. Tariff determination petitions before the regulatory authorities. Briefing Senior Advocates in the various Legal Matters on various issues and strategizing the course of action to be taken. Providing in house legal advice on need basis to all departments. Briefing/ Liaising / coordinating with outside Advocates/ Solicitors/Law firms etc. on different legal cases and attending to before the court in various legal proceedings. Research on latest amendments/ changes/ case laws, government circulars etc. Drafting notices for recovery and replies to the notices, vendors etc. Advising the Management on alternative dispute resolution mechanism being cost effective & less time consuming. Drafting and reviewing all contracts and other legal documents as well as participating in contract Negotiations, finalization, and approval. Reporting to senior management.
