Purpose: Support the WASH and Nutrition, PAHAL Program, WASH partners, WASH Coordination Committees, and communities in implementing community led and managed WASH components of the program in line with the approved program proposal, Detail Implementation Plan (DIP) and Grant Agreement Documents, following Country Strategic Plan (CSP), and Child Centered Community Development (CCCD) approach and relevant Plan and USAID policies, standards and guidelines. Assist in integrating disaster risk reduction in the plan, design and implementation of sustainable community led total sanitation WASH component of the program for enhancing resilience of children and community. Support capacity building interventions of internal and external stakeholders in programming and undertaking WASH and nutrition interventions.Develop quality WASH Program and facilitate its implementation• Develop PO in line with CSP, CP, and project objectives and indicators in consideration of WASH and nutrition. • Provide support to CBO, NGOs, VDC level WASH Coordination Committees (VWASHCCs), district level WASH Coordination Committees (DWASHCCs), nutrition related committees, government line agencies, and water and sanitation user’s committees to ensure quality design, accountability and implementation of WASH and nutrition activities in line with the PAHAL program.• Recommend strategies and approaches to improve quality of WASH interventions as per the project to ensuring desired outputs and outcomes and their sustainability.• Incorporate learning and recommendations from research, monitoring and evaluations for future planning and implementation.• Ensure implementation of WASH component of the project mainly total sanitation related activities adhere to Plan’s CSP, CP, and Sanitation and Hygiene Master Plan- 2011, other relevant policies and guidelines of the government, CLTS Hand Book, and child to child approach.

Provide overall guidance in planning, designing, implementing and monitoring sustainable community led total sanitation, hygiene behaviour promotion and other WASH component of the Program for enhancing resilience of women, girls, children and communities. Responsible for providing technical support as well as building capacity of WASH staff at Regional Offices, NGOs as well as of other consortium partners in programming and for undertaking WASH interventions. Also responsible for integrating the gender equality and social inclusion, and governance in WASH and also explore best possible ways to link WASH mainly sanitation and hygiene promotion.
