handle a team of 15 individuals for CIP-customer identification program

- Analyze transaction activities of overseas correspondent banking transactions- Conducting enhanced due diligence investigations of transactions examining the customer’s customer in high risk jurisdictions.- Responsible for conducting full analysis/Investigations on all types of accounts from Low to High Risk countries for all group corresponding and retail banks including; Wire Transfers, Book Transfers, CHIPS Payments ,CTR,ACH, customer account statements, deposit records and check copies on a daily basis- Review and analyze compliance monitoring reports and other related source documents for suspicious/unusual patterns of activity.- Communicated to management ways to improve investigation protocols- Provided compliance training for new joiners- Worked with various AML applications – NORKOM, KYC, LEXISNEXIS, RDC etc…- Assist the RFI Group (Request for Information) by providing reports on potential money laundering and suspicious activities to obtain appropriate customer explanation and straighten any KYC discrepancies.- Screening of Customer Database to find potential matches with various Govt. lists like OFAC, SDN List etc- Documenting investigations and its results, and providing initial recommendations and dispositions with supporting reasons, if not escalating them to further levels
