Currently spearheading the revamping and expansion of 100,000 BPD refinery in Sudan as Director (Technical), Regional Petroleum Products Company Ltd., Saudi Arabia.I am having more than 30 years of work experience at various positions including Department Manager and General Manager in three different refineries of Bharat Petroleum . Major experience is in E&P , conceptual studies, project management, operations and commissioning for oil & gas projects onshore, Pipeline Projects, and oil refineries. Completed projects with know how from Shell, Chevron, HTAS. Participated in many conferences, presentations and seminars related to oil and gas industries.Possessing a proven track record of preparing and executing project plans and programs based on the approval process followed in company, ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with the companies procedures and clients satisfaction. Able to ensure timely, safe and cost effective design and implementation during the life cycle of projects from conception till commissioning as per Gate process. Refinery is a state of the art refinery with distillation capacity of 148,000 BPD having RFCC and CCR.• Refinery also has polypropylene plant. Provided technical services to the plant. • Guided the Technical and Inspection teams for timely completion of Turn around of refinery as General Manager (Technical) .TA was successfully completed in scheduled time except the second stage cyclone of RFCC due to crack at dissimilar welding. Decision was taken to change the metallurgy of the cyclones except the top 8 inches which is welded with re generator. RFCC was commissioned and operating successfully.. All the defects observed in TA were fully analyzed and countermeasures were taken.
