Geotechnical engineer having more than 9 years of experience after post-graduation in soil mechanics and foundation engineering. Experienced in detailed and tender engineering projects in ports, highways and railway sectors.My experience in port projects mainly includes geotechnical analysis and design of pile foundations (both steel and concrete) for berths, stability analysis of seawall, design of reclamation, design of ground improvement, instrumentation, design of caisson foundations, design of quay block walls etc. Experience in highway projects includes planning and monitoring of geotechnical investigation, design of open and pile foundations, stability analysis of cut slopes and embankments, liquefaction potential assessment etc. Experience in railway/metro projects includes the design of anchored secant, contiguous piles and sheet-pile walls.I have field experience in geotechnical investigation and piling works and also visited various project sites and provided solutions to the construction stage problems.I am proficient in geotechnical software like Slope/W, Lpile, Apile, Group, PYWALL, Wallap, PLAXIS 2D and SETTLE3. Also, I have basic knowledge of software like GRLWEAP and AutoCAD 2D.I also have good experience in liaising with project stakeholders, scope and man-hour estimation for engineering services, leading a small team, and managing the commercial part of the geotechnical investigation etc.I am familiar with designing with Indian Standards (IS), Indian Road Congress (IRC), Euro code (EC), US Standards (FHWA, USACE).
