 Warehousing Management / Material Management : Forecasting commodity wise requirement of storage at each port for various span of time. Analysis availability and demand of storage space at ports. Hiring of warehouse. Handling the warehouse and inventory management and implementing stock audit to verify performance standard of team and service providers. Ensure Quality maintain during storage. Assisting manufacturing unit to supply material as per requirement. Managing the procurement of material and claiming insurance in case of any damage / shortages of goods. Requirement of team to supervise material movement and port related activities. Documentation : Supervision Pre-Shipment & Post-Shipment documentation function by team. Maintaining a track on timely filing of custom documents; monitoring approvals and preparing the MIS to measure performance related to documentation. Ensuring that team maintains proper records as ready for any scrutiny by audit or government bodies and all transaction are properly recorded on real-time as per company policy. Recruitment and retention of operation and documentation team as per requirement. Assessment of performance and Establish KRA for team. Training and development of team. Vender & Customers Management : Coordination with venders, customers and trade brokers for execution of contracts. Authorizing payments to suppliers for material supplied. Establish and maintain customer relations. Amicable solutions to commercial disputes with counter party. Management of Service Provider : Appointment of service providers i.e. CHA, Surveyor, Vessel Agent, Fumigation Agencies etc. Finalizing agreement, Negotiate Terms with Service providers.
