Working for Mashreq Bank in Dubai, responsible for overseeing three squads: Business Banking, Digital, and NeoBiz.Regularly conduct technical assessments for Java backend and frontend engineers, focusing on code quality, including code coverage and adherence to best practices. This includes leveraging Java 8 features like Lambda expressions, identifying code smells, and utilizing functional interfaces and design patterns such as Facade and MVC.The review process for changes in React Native and React JS focused on the effective use of Hooks, higher-order components (HOC), state and props management, destructuring, Redux, and ES6 syntax features like arrow functions and the spread operator. Jest was utilized for unit testing.Working closely with Product Owners at Mashreq Bank on-site to gather requirements of Business Banking Acquisition and Digital, NeoBiz squads and delivering Sprints at Offshore with more than 20+ team members. Completely following Agile practices using Azure Dashboard for code repos and deployment in CI/CD pipeline using Dockers.Effectively implemented Feign clients and Kafka for Microservices.Developed multiple APIs for managing collections and auto loans, including account creation and closure for both business and retail banking.Weekly status meetings with the client on-site to discuss delivery status and risks, review Sprint progress, assess team capacity and velocity, and evaluate the productivity index.As part of a client satisfaction survey, I trained and mentored resources needing upskilling in technical and domain knowledge.
