• Responsible for ensuring STPI, Customs/Excise, SEZ regulations compliance across all 5 STP locations and 3 SEZ units in India• Liaison with STPI, Excise, Customs and SEZ authorities for smooth day-to-day operations of the units• Plan, organize & direct day to day operations of the team in Logistics and compliance.• Responsible for clearance of all import shipments as per the agreed SLAs and for maintaining 100% adherence to Customs laws • Manage the activities of expansion/consolidation of facilities, assets in line with Company’s goal and contribute to on time completion of projects• Management of Bonds renewal and ensuring that bonds are not time expired and are renewed / extended well before the expiry date of warehousing period• Plan, organize and supervise the export shipments to various countries and to obtain all statutory approvals in time for expeditious shipping of the equipment to the client specified destinations• Implement best practices and fine tune Customs / SEZ processes based on policy changes • Manage and co-ordinate with CHA/Freight forwarders to ensure timely clearance/movement of shipments across all facilities• Coordinate for smooth conducting of audits by internal, external auditors as well as from Customs/ Central excise

Negotiation and finalisation of vendors for services and products, ensuring timely delivery, processing of invoices through finance, establish service contracts with freight forwarders, Clearing and forwarding agents.Logistics -  Managing of whole gamut of STPI & Customs related activities across branches Obtain licenses from STPI & Customs for new facilities  Ensuring maintenance of Statutory records required under STPI / Customs rules Ensure filing of periodic returns as per STPI/ Customs rules Obtaining EPCG Licenses and closure of the same with JDGFT Updating of IEC code and inclusion of new branches

Handling Purchase, Stores, Accounts, Administration functions for day to day functioning, handling industry interaction for EXIM services, verify and approve requests received from industry members, MIS reports, train and supervise new entrants to the team, handle statutory and internal auditors and provide them with information to finalise the annual accounts
