Responsibilities:• Develop the annual Operations business plans on the assigned objectives of the Operations Strategy• Guide the Cluster Managers and AP Mangers in the assigned regional area for the delivery of the objectives in the Operations business plan• Monitor the contribution of the respective Programs contribution to the Operations business plan targets and ensure the achievements.• Ensure smooth implementation of Programs & Projects to achieve Child Well Being outcomes in line with the National Office strategy, donor compliance and partnership standards.• Ensure Grant projects are implemented within donor defined program implementation cycle and standards.• Provide guidance for proper integration of sponsorship, HEA, PNS, Grants, and NRD projects.• Manage the program cost effectively and Program effectively.• Ensure Warehouse Management support to disaster response. • Ensure the integration with ADPs for Private Partnership (like JK, Ford, Mass) and Grants (DIFET and KOCIA, Weconomy, BMZ and EU.

North And East Sri Lanka

Responsibilities:• Provide strategic support in the effective & efficient management of WVL program operations & deliverables, in line with partnership operations strategy, within the framework of WVL national strategy• Monitor, manage & provide directions for programs, ensuring sustained well-being of children within the families and communities we serve, in line with the Child Well Being (CWB) goals of WV.• Ensure strong DME & LEAP, compliance in projects through effective collaboration between program operations & the Quality Assurance division• Implement WVL national strategy, by helping programs operations be aligned with Technical Approaches/ Technical Programs in the priority sectors, for the delivery of quality programs.• Ensure effective planning, budgeting, staffing, resource allocation and monitoring of diversified grants & corporate funded programs.• Lead and roll out strategic initiatives and pilot projects in line with change management requirements in field operations• Ensure collaboration between Operations and the support functions including finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Audit, IT, Communications and others for the smooth & effective functioning of field operations• National level engagement with the Govt and other stakeholders including donors, NGOs, multi and bilateral partners & corporates to expand reach & impact of WVL program operations

Responsibilities:• Supervise camp management team of contracted staff, refugee incentives and casuals, ensuring effective staff deployment, performance planning and appraisals staff line manages as camp manager.• Facilitate establishment of camp committees whose members are representative of the camp population, with a specific technical or cross-cutting sector focus and cutting across agencies: Protection, Shelter, WASH, etc. and ensuring that representation takes into account Persons with Special Needs -Elderly, Women at risk, Youth, Living with Disabilities, etc.• Ensure the organizing of different community sectors in the camp to facilitate and address needs of the affected population (Women Group, Safety and Security, Youth Groups, Education, Elderly etc.)• Develop the capacity of camp leaders, committee members and Interest groups through training, Focused Group discussions, peers sessions and dialogue sessions.• Ensure that the camp management feedback procedures and complaints mechanisms are in place, and forums are conducted for the camp population.• Ensure gaps in assistance to beneficiaries are filled and avoid duplication of activities by conducting regular and systematic monitoring of service delivery in the camp, drawing the attention of stakeholders and partners to overarching needs.• Facilitate and coordinate formal meetings and dialogue sessions with both community representatives and actors, service providers and representative of government etc.• Identify and formalize roles and responsibilities between agencies providing services in the camp as a crucial function to addressing gaps and helping to avoid misunderstandings.• Receive, conduct and/or facilitate registration of new arrivals in the camp (or validation of existing residents) in order to provide baseline information on the characteristics of the population to inform, additional assistance programmers and the effective coordination of distributions.

North And East, Sri Lanka

Responsibilities:• Involved in flood response integrated with ADPs and ARP being in one leadership• The success I achieved in the TWO ARPs led them become FIVE ADPs in the north and East• The primary role of this position is to provide operational leadership to the HEA Zonal Team, and ensure program coordination between the relevant Sector/Technical Teams and Zonal programs.• Provided Zonal growth opportunities, based on solid assessments data, to HEA Director, to set a foundation for zone operations that will guarantee smooth transition from relief to ARP and ADP.• Maintain good working relationships with Provincial and District government bodies, UN, INGOs, NGOs and WFP without compromising the independence of WV and its non- governmental role. Secure government recognition and support of projects and coordination of current and future ministries in the region.• In conjunction with the program Officer, prepare project proposals and budgets, seeking to diversify funding and other resources, in order to provide stability to programs and to be positioned for quick and effective response to community needs assist in the development of strategies for long term or additional interventions.• Engaged in Zonal networking with the donors, UN, ING’O and NGO communities, and develop relationship of mutual confidence and respect with donors such as UN agencies, and other organizations that can provide cooperation and assistance to World Vision humanitarian and development efforts. • Handled Commodity Programs such as School Feeding Program, Food for Work Program and Cash for Work Programs during the Tsunami Program• Response manager during the flood disaster in East of Sri Lanka.• Response manager during the IDP response in North & East. • Managing warehouse & logistic in North & East.

East, Sri Lanka

Responsibilities:• The primary role of this position is to provide operational and administrable leadership to the district and ensure program coordination between the relevant Sector/Technical Teams.• To set a solid foundation for district operations that will guarantee smooth transition from Relief to Development. Ensure that all sect oral programs are closely integrated and that all programs receive equal planning and monitoring. • To be responsible for maintain good working relationships with district government bodies without compromising the independence of WV and its non-governmental role. Secure government recognition and support of projects and coordination of current and future ministries in the zone.• To be responsible for provide administrative management for the implementation of all WV programs in the district in accordance with the overall Asia Tsunami Response Strategy and approved objectives, plans of action, and budgets, and to measure and document monthly progress towards goals.• Maintain appropriate security for personnel and WV property, including assisting in the developing Zone security plans and evacuation procedures and coordinating with the designated Security Office and the Human Resources Manager in the zone Office.• Supervise administrative functions such as procurement, equipment repair, vehicle allocation and maintenance.• Manage and ensure the implementation of programs including Shelter, Infrastructure (temporary learning spaces, schools, clinics and community infrastructure) cash for work and WASH, ensuring strict quality control mechanism and agreed results are achieved.

North Sri Lanka

Responsibilities:• During this period, I worked fully in the un-cleared area and maintained a good network with both parties.• Developed successful programs with WFP and a Housing Scheme with ADB.• The 1st warehouse was erected during my tenure in Vanni.• Covered three districts such as part of Mannar, Killinochchi and Mullaitheevu during this tenure.• The other milestone achieved by establishing the HEA office in Killinochchi.• Made the government-INGO coordination and network. • Ensured the security of the staff in the region.

East Sri Lanka

Responsibilities:• Played key role in the North, particularly Mannar, was taken up for World Vision intervention.• Key role in Entering for the first time ever into the North for the implementation of World Vision Programme.• The Programme was done by me very effectively in the North Camp management.• Successfully created and fostered good relationship between the World Vision and the government and built relationship between the churches. • Established the coordination among the UN, INGOs and the NGOs.• Developed a good network between the government forces and the LTTE and got access from both’ parties and worked for the really needy people of the north. • Being a key instrumental in getting the partnership with ADB, NHDA and obtained grants for certain projects.• Succeeded in changing the Mannar Development Programme (DP) to Mannar ADP
