He is a professional having over four decade of experience in project promotion, financing and management. Have an extensive knowledge of all aspects right from inception stage viz; project identification, appraisal & financing , disbursement, implementation, technology tie-up, marketing arrangement, development of ancillaries & support services , resource mobilization & fund management , risk management , monitoring, M&A , exit of investments, IPO etc; Also in day–to-day affairs of companies including that of strategic planning, commercial, administrative, financial & secretarial. For over a decade, he headed as Chief Executive Officer of an AMC & TC associated with VC specific activities – risk financing. Had been involved in conceptualization, structuring and managing a State dedicated VC Fund targeting primarily in IT/Software sector positioned by one of the Indian State Government through its’ corporate bodies in association with a Central Government financial institution. He had also headed Investment & Finance as well as Accounts Division of one of the leading Indian Industrial Development Corporations as its’ Executive Director assisting the said corporation in mobilizing funds, recoveries of investments made in its promoted / loanee companies, restructuring its’ overall activities and formulating short & long term perspective plan including a proposal of establishing an ARC for the State to enable its’ different agencies to retrieve their investments made in companies.He had been closely involved with many projects which have yield high dividends to the said IDC In addition, had been instrumental in establishing an Investment Promotion & Infrastructure Development Division within the State IDC and an independent Infrastructure Board for the State.He had also been the Chairman & Director on the Board of several companies many of which has since emerged as leaders in their respective field of activities.
