Hse Officer
CurrentAct as installation subject matter expert (SME) for the Company HSE management system and training requirements. Assist in the continued development of the HSE culture. Advise, coach and motivate offshore supervisory personnel to help develop knowledge and skills to promote a proactive HSE safety culture. Promote Leadership, Accountability and Compliance with Company’s Core Values and HSE policies and procedures. Assist and conduct Incident investigations offshore using TOP SET. Through participation in drills and exercises assess effectiveness of Emergency response and security scenarios. Provide advice and consultation to department staff to assist them in maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with HSE regulations, standards and practices. Help organize and participate in major HSE Audits, surveys such as all Safety/environmental related surveys, inspections, and assessments. Review and comments on HSE aspects of contract documents. Provide needed support for the implementation of HSE programs. Attends major HSE meetings and other related courses and conferences. Enhances HSE awareness by organizing presentations and video sessions, distributing information, and setting a good example. Writes formal reports, HSE articles for company publications, and develops/delivers presentations. Coordinates ongoing HSE projects, such as : Safety Management System (SMS)/Environmental Management System (EMS).
