• Complete Design & Detailed Engineering of pipeline Product (Expansion joints, Industrial Strainers, Pig Launcher and Receiver and pig handling systems) as per International codes and standards.• Working knowledge with ASME Section VIII Div. 1 & 2, EJMA, TEMA, IBR, ASME B31.1, B31.3,B31.8, B16.34, API 600 & IS Standards.• Expansion joints, flanges, shell thickness calculation under internal/ external pressure calculated using PV elite software.• Evaluating the customer’s specification at the Tender stage. • Studying Piping Layout and support Layout for the thermal expansion calculation. Locating the suitable product (Expansion Joints) in the system.• Preparation of Technical offer as per the specification which includes Design Selection, Drawing Preparation, BOM, Cost Estimation.• Calculation of force/ Thrust on the Pressure parts and preparation of Detail Engineering.• Assisting the sales team with technical support / solving technical issues and if required also visited the site. • Developed drawing fabrication packages for production and Quality Plan / Manufacturing drawing for approval.• Supporting the Production and Quality team during manufacturing stage. • Reviewing the Technical post order Documents prior to dispatch.• Also responsible for Vendor Development, Assessing Vendor Infrastructure and Approval. • BOM shall be prepared and forwarded to Purchase for Procurement Activities.• Co-ordination and communication with client for all technical matters starting from preparation of engineering drawings till dispatch of product. • Represented the Design team for ASME audit and NB certificate audit. Design Documentation done for Code Stamping.• Working knowledge with ASME Section VIII Div.1 & 2. Prepared `U’ stamp certified pressure vessel bellows design documents and successfully executed three projects• Familiar with NDT/NDE applications, requirements for welding, fabrication and inspection and testing based on ASME sec V and VIII.
