Selected Projects:1. Real-Time Execution of SIMPACK models: Worked closely with SIMPACK AG to add support for running SIMPACK models in real-time under Simulation Workbench (SimWB). Our solution supports leveraging multiple cores for running these high-fidelity models of physical systems such as vehicle chassis, wind turbines, locomotive engines, & etc. We are able to provide cutting-edge performance and run complex models (>300 Degrees of Freedom (DoF)) under 1 millisecond frame. 2. rFpro Integration: In this project, we added the ability to communicate with rFpro visualization tool as well as their terrain server that provides millimeter accurate track information. Using our integration, we can realize driving simulators that range from a small static desktop single monitor setup all the way to 9 DoF dynamic simulators with panoramic multi-projector setup than spans entire visual field and more.3. Real-Time execution of Dymola models: Using our solution, we can run Dymola generated code under SimWB in real-time. The key advantage is to exploit multiple cores, without which real-time would have been impossible, to run the high-fidelity Dymola models. 4. CarSim: We added support for running easy to develop CarSim models in real-time.5. Diamond Visionics RTX: Diamond Visionics RTX is one of the visualization tool for Flight Simulators. Our support leveraged Common Image Generator Interface (CIGI) co-developed by Boeing to communicate with the visualization tool.

Projects:1. Functional Mock-up Interface (FMI): Added support for running Functional Mock-up Units (FMUs) in real-time under our own software Simulation Workbench (SimWB). Our solution does not require the source of the FMU for it to run in real-time. 2. Continuous Integration System: Setup an automated test system that continually builds and tests SimWB software from scratch. Technologies/Software Used - Jenkins/Hudson, Tomcat, QEMU Virtual Machines, & Bridged Networking.3. Real-Time Execution of MATLAB/Simulink Models: Added cutting edge features in our MATLAB interface that supports model reference, physical modeling, concurrent execution, and etc.
