CurrentSourcing \ Procurement & developing suppliers through process development, supplier audits, APQP, PPAP, FMEAs continuous improvement, lean orientation, driving results (Ops), project management & strategic problem solving; conducting internal audits through collaboration, statistical & supplier quality control (SQC) techniques to deliver desired outputDevelop suppliers through Process development, Supplier Audits, APQP, PPAP to have ZDS and support implementation of SQD tools (APQP, PPAP, Make/Buy Model, Supplier approval process, VA/VE, etc.) for operational and key supplier compliance.New Potential Supplier Identification and Evaluation. Develop Global and India sourcing strategies for engineering commodity Pump & Valve parts (Cast iron, steel, Machined parts, Aluminum parts) and assist in the development of Global & India sourcing strategies to meet the emerging market sourcing objectives and requirements Supplier selection.Support in achieving Customer OTD targets and company profitability through providing right material availability on time, right quality, at right cost. Review order status with suppliers and ensure timely support and delivery.Evaluation of Suppliers, Supplier Audits Supplier Enrollment and Supplier Audits for New development item or Alternate Vendor. Collaborating with the Global Sites to help suppliers understand the Quality requirements of the Products. To identify root cause and counter measures for bridging the gap between current performance level and desired performance level of the Vendors.Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified ,Proficiency in AutoCAD & Solid works,NDT Level –II Certified.Familiar in ‘3 ‘AXIS CNC CMM. & Manual CMM,ISO 9001& TS16949’ and ‘ISO 14001’ activities.TECHNICAL DECISION MAKING - Demonstrates breadth and depth of knowledge, processes and products, and uses it to improve business results and output
