Visakhapatnam

Coordinated with Development Commissioner of Handicraft (DCH) in implementation of the AHVY project in six districts of Andhra Pradesh. Facilitated in identification and forming the groups with wooden toy artisans. Coordinated program planning, management, monitoring and evaluation. Developed linkages with State Government departments, Banks, corporate (NTPC, GAIL). Notable Achievement: Developed a project to address the value chain gaps of wooden toy craft in Andhra Pradesh. This initiative done in collaboration with the EGMM and SERP, Andhra Pradesh.

Coordinated the micro finance initiative in Circle 5 (old city) networking with Greater Hyderabad Municipality Corporation (GHMC) and State Bank of India (SBI). Established rapport with key persons and community, establishing Community Resource Person (CRP) system. Facilitated the bank linkage (account and loans) to SHGs. Reporting and MIS. Facilitated training programs for different levels SHG leaders, CRPs, GHMC staff on various micro finance concepts. Notable Achievement: facilitated in formation of 1050 SHGs and loan linked to 189 SHGsCoordinated the post Tsunami rehabilitation activities/short term projects promotion of livelihoods, infrastructure rehabilitation, and environment restoration. Coordinated the reconstruction activities/long term projects sustainable livelihoods, Education for livelihoods (E4L), water and sanitation (WATSAN), community based disaster preparedness (CBDP) and micro insurance. Facilitated in designing various monitoring tools, base registers and other database to meet the requirements of the project implementation and monitoring of the activities in tune with the project logical framework from time to time. Facilitated the transition process of the micro finance intervention developed up by CARE INDIA to government Velugu project in three mandals of Ranga Reddy dist. Facilitated capacity building activities for SHGs, Federations, MACS in the vision building, leadership training for board, revision of By-laws, business rules to MACS. Facilitated training programs to staff and animators on micro finance and livelihood concepts. Coordinated livelihood activities in two mandals along with different field functionaries, working towards backward inputs and linking forward market. Facilitated in developing and implementing many subprojects milch animals, petty businesses, land based activities, infrastructure activities, marketing intervention of different agriculture products like Neem fruit, Maize, Green gram, Red gram and Castor. Facilitated SHG formation and other federations (village organizations, MACS) and capacity building of institutions and community animators. Facilitated linkages with Banks, government schemes like revolving fund, SGSY, etc.

Facilitated watershed activities in 11 DPAP micro watersheds and 7 RIDF watersheds in 16 villages of Bhongir mandal and involved in preparation of estimations for various watershed constructions like check dams, feeder channels, CCTs, LBs, RFDs, etc. Facilitated the NRM structures constructions through watershed associations/committees. Capacitated the farmers, watershed committee leaders and public representatives on watershed concept, various activities and convergence. Coordinated the other watershed activities like Agriculture, Forest management and Social scientist.
