In 2009 I was standing a grand boardroom of a multi billion dollar company in Singapore when of one of the SBA President’s asked me, “Can you prove the efficacy of the training”The Head of Learning and Development who had engaged me sunk into his chair. The air was cold. The room still and my heart about to explode. The short answer was “No”Now in hindsight I realise that it was not a question for 1 person but the entire room of leaders. Everyone is part of the solution. That was the defining moment in my professional life when I realised that though my fellow facilitators and I were giving our best in the workshops to equip the participants with useful tools, it was vastly inadequate in addressing the performance gaps in the organisation. That question was my event horizon. Everything changed. I resigned from my cushy Master Trainer career in search of Teachers, ideas and tools to Enable Change. Real Change.
