Business Development, Distributor Appointment & Management, Pre and Post Sales Support

I joined WJ Towell Computer Services as Sales Account Manager in Dec 1999 and promoted to Business Development Manager in year Jul 2003 following by another major appraisal in year Feb 2006 as Towell Security & Safety Solutions Co FZCO – General Manager.I am responsible for leading the entire business operations with P & L management responsibility and along with operations including Sales & Marketing, Business Development, and Project Management & Team performance management. I am accountable for preparing budgets and controlling finance coupled with strategic planning, forecasting and allocations whilst maintaining high service standards and practices and exercising quality control in all areas. I am tasked with planning and conceptualizing various strategies to achieve business goals for sales and aiming towards the growth in business volumes as well as profitability in order to achieve the set targets. Overseeing strategy formulation and business development plans for the company, setting up all processes related to product management and creating the roadmap for the products. I am instrumental in developing and executing organization’s mid- to long-term strategic plan to advance the Organization’s mission & objectives and manage the organization’s daily activities. I manage end-to-end aspects of business operations management, including process planning, policy/procedure implementation, seamless workflow management and allocation of tasks. I played a stellar role in improving the on-time project completion from 57% to 83% & finally to 93%, as part of process improvement. I contributed in starting Towell Security & Safety Solutions in Dubai in 2006. Recognized for securing first contract with Dubai Customs in 2008 for US Dollars 18 million for cargo inspection systems for deployment at Jebel Ali port. I secured a contract with US government Department of Energy for commissioning and maintenance of Radiation Alarm systems at Salalah port.

I started my career as an entrepreneur offering IT Software Service. I established the organization from start for providing IT solutions to small scale and retail industries. Identified, developed and implemented custom made ERP solutions. Provided marketing consultancy to manufacturing organizations and helped develop regional business strategies based on company objectives, market characteristics, cost and mark-up factors and market analysis. Structured annual operational budget and implemented control measures to contain expenses within defined limits. Was actively involved in the US FDA approval of large pharma company in India.
