Worked on the complete Procure to Pay cycle, Published RFQ's, Obtained quotes and evaluated comparative statements to arrive at the most eligible and suitable supplier. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement to drive continuous improvement Participated in strategic sourcing initiatives to identify and evaluate new suppliers and products. Closely working with export customers to understand the requirements. Visiting suppliers to understand Preparation of RFQ's summary by better understanding of drawing & standards. Releasing RFQ's summary to suitable suppliers. Preparation of quotation for export RFQ's in various Inco-terms. Negotiated with the suppliers to arrive at prices and terms beneficial to the company. Expedited delivery of items through regular follow-up with the suppliers, coordinated with the Warehouse in managing the inventory and ensured that there was no delay in project inputs. Worked with suppliers on scheduling the delivery of the material. Coordinated between suppliers and customers to resolve technical queries. Negotiated with vendors to secure the best purchase terms that resulted in significant cost savings.
