1. Strategize ways to build one to one relationships with important government contacts like- DM, SSP, BSA, DIOS, ABSA, CMO, MOIC, BRC, NGO partners, Media houses, Principals, Teachers and collaborate with them for implementation of COTPA act 2003 and its provisions, Regular follow up with the district administration and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.2. Develop an in-depth understanding of overall tobacco control and its implementation issues related to the tobacco control act , especially smoke free rules in India with special focus on UP.3. Developing appropriate project specific strategies and preparing work plans and meeting targets.4. Travel frequently within districts to liaison and implement project activities ensuring quality & the outcome of the deliverable so that project objectives are achieved.5. Facilitate the capacity building of Law enforcers, Coalition Partners and other stakeholders so that project objectives can be achieved effectively.6. Support the district Administration for establishment of the District Steering/Monitoring committees for tobacco control and provides the necessary technical support.7. Facilitate the strengthening of the enforcement mechanism on Tobacco control.8. Support studies/operational research to be conducted during the project.9. Documentation and timely submission of monthly / quarterly plans and reports to the central team.10. Any other work assigned by the Executive Director / Program Manager in the interest of the project.
