Responsibilities: -Working and owing features of the AccuCare application, meeting with product owner to gather user requirements of the feature, documenting and designing.-Working on front end UI using telerik in web forms, html and CSS.-Designing and implementing functions of the code behind to call sql queries to the database and using VB.NET code.-Implementation in single page concept.-Designing and implementing Active Reports for the AccuCare users. -Updating database project and adding new tables, views, sql queries, indexes, triggers..etc for new fresh deployments for new customers.-Using Balsamiq to generate mockups.-Using Active Reports to compile and generate user reports. -Working on support issues when required.-Working on company IT related issues as needed.-Using agile methodology through JIRA and attending scrum standups.Environments: Visual Studio, VB.NET and C#, .Net Framework 3.5/4.0, SQL server 2008, SVN version control, CSS, html, AJAX, javascript, JQuery, Web Forms, OOP, WCF, LINQ and Lambda expressions, MS unit test, IIS, and dotPeek (.net decompiler).

Responsibilities: -Working on back end of different projects to add new features or enhance existing ones, that includes designing and developing Interfaces and classes for Common, DataAccess, Logic and Service layers (WCF), gathering the right requirements and/or evolving them and delivering them as data models that get populated in the DataAccess layer, validated in the logic layer and then passed to the service layer, also designing and implementing queries to create and/or edit tables and/or databases that are needed for the new requirements, and compiling unit and integration test as needed.-Creating and/or modifying stored procedures and/or inline sql queries for different databases, like SQL server, Informix and DB2.-Working on Front end for different projects, using and utilizing MVC controllers to call WCF services, using AJAX/JQuery and populating the returned data into view and/or partial views.-Working on different schedule processes that makes calls to existing WCF services, and editing and/or modifying the existing Interfaces and classes to meet the new requirements, and set them up on visual crons jobs.-Fixing production data issues for different projects and accounts, and documenting the needed scripts to fix them for the future reference, using our platform for wiki. The fix would require stepping in the code to find the problem of the account and/or the code, and providing recommendation for issues that might be common for a group of accounts. It will also include looking into the databases or Active Directory to investigate the issue.-All the above listed work includes testing locally, committing changes to our SVN server, testing the changes on Dev environment, QA environment, and finally in Production when released. Updating the required configurations on Dev, QA and Prod and committing them. Have a code review after a group of changes, and a QA meeting to demonstrate the changes and test plans for QA testers.

-Designing new UI for the doclanding application.-Designing and implementing the smart devices application for the company’s product, mainly the Android family.-Designing and implementing internal software for monitoring and analysis of the company’s product.-Working on clients customized problems, and provide solutions with implementations to meet their needs.

-Part time instructor (night classes) and mentor for students in PC tech diploma and Associate Degrees.-Teaching PC hardware, Networking and Operating Systems.-Assigned to the programming classes for the night students as they start enrolled in the Bachelor degree program for IT-Attending professional growth classes, seminars; as part of the college program for the instructors professional growth.

-Automation of internal assisting tools, like creation of new builds using build tool, and connecting it to repository host for automated notification.-Engaged with the different web-based projects for different clients.-Generating Report Services of different hierarchical levels.-Working on a brand new tablet project using phonegap.

-Researching algorithmic methods for biological sequence comparison.-Implementing and analyzing any needed code for testing the proposed algorithms, and analyzing the results-Writing and editing papers related to my research-Conducting and presenting a paper every 4-6 weeks to my research group. Thesis Title: Algorithmic solutions for alignment-free methods to compare biological sequences.

-Writing Perl scripts to run some analysis functions on IT auditing reports, test, comment and document them.-Help the IT audit team in their regular work, to meet their deadlines.

-Investigating and troubleshooting any computer related problems, software and hardware, including desktops, servers and printers.-Leading and managing students workers for the school lab, addressing and assigning the needed tasks to them on a daily based and scheduling their attendance according to the lab needs.

-Diagnosing and troubleshooting network related problems on both the user level and the network level.-Managing and operating the network switches on the low level.-Designing and implementing software to analyze to address the network behavior.-Designing and implementing a database to store the network nodes information.
