Spriggy Schools is an online marketplace that facilitates the ordering and fulfilment of food and other orders within primary schools in Australia.Notable AchievementsHelped the product and engineering team scale the Spriggy Schools platform from serving 116 schools in May 2022 to 441 schools in August of 2023. This helped move Spriggy Schools into third place behind Flexischools and QuickCliq in the Australian market.The increase in the number of schools served allowed the Spriggy marketing team to increase cross sell opportunities and to convert more families to using Spriggy's flagship Pocket Money product.

Lead the product and technology team at Backr - one of the ventures created under X15 Ventures, CBA's innovation lab, and venture scaling arm. Helped deliver CBA Crypto, the first big 4 banking venture into the crypto trading space in Australia.Notable AchievementsHelped the CBA Crypto team push the MVP from board roam presentation, to live trial in the hands of 5,000 users in the CommBank App in under 6 months.

Helped the team @backrau and the greater @x15ventures team to build the tools to help and guide first time entrepreneurs and small business owners to start their new ventures. The aim of the Backr team was to help these budding entrepreneurs go from initial plan to profit and beyond.Initial versions of the Backr MVP involved creating integrations with ATO and ASIC systems to facilitate the registration of new business entities, and to help set first time entrepreneurs for success. The Backr product was built by an external agency.Notable AchievementsHelped negotiate the sale and transfer of Backr's business and technology assets to CommBiz to help improve the experience of new and existing business customers when opening new business accounts.

Helped the Executive Team at Likwidity build and market Likwidity's Deposit platform. Utilised deep product ownesrhip and product management expertise to advance the Likwidity Deposit platform from MVP to a secure, battle-hardened offering for enterprise & government clients.The Likwidity Deposit platform simplifies the way enterprise & government clients seek and place higher yielding deposits and cash based financial products. The platform helps customers with Price Discovery and Execution for Term Deposits, Cash Management and At Call Accounts.The platform aims to help treasury and finance teams with the following:1. Minimise the effort required when looking to place their surplus cash.2. Provide maximum returns available through competitive bank bidding, and thus boost client ROI / ROC.3. Simplify the reporting & compliance burden when it comes to the process of managing cash.4. Provide an audit trail of the end to end investment process.Notable AchievementsLikwidity was accepted into the PwC Business Align & Connect program in July 2020. This is a program aimed at identifying the best Australian high-growth tech ventures and helping them to connect with PwC’s global network of firms and clients.To gain acceptance, Likwidity had to pass a comprehensive due-diligence process spanning internal and external business processes, technology platform and information security. Having passed this audit, Likwidity is well on its way to achieving ISO27001 information security certification in early 2021.

Co-founded directSMS to help Small and Medium Enterprises utilise SMS and business messaging technologies to easily interact with their customers and staff.The venture initially started as a side project with friends in 2001. An MVP was developed and launched in 2003 with a largely automated / low touch business model. It was not until 2009 - 2010 that the team behind directSMS decided to focus on the venture on a full time basis resulting in average year on year growth of 31%.Notable Achievements:- Averaged year on year revenue growth of 31%- Built a sales and marketing funnel that consistently converted leads at from free trial to paying customer at 32% - double the industry average- Scaled the directSMS product suite to handle over 9,000 business customer accounts- Sold directSMS to the MessageMedia Group - the biggest provider of SMS-based marketing and communications in Australia and New Zealand CTO duties included:- Product design and development- Platform & DevOps support- Software development- Strategy and planning- Systems integrationDirector & Co-CEO duties included:- Overall responsibility for operations- Negotiating with telcos, aggregators and other suppliers- Marketing and online lead generation- Marketing Automation- Pre-sales and customer support

DSTi was engaged to build a new Wrap Platform for Aviva (Norwhich Union) in the United Kingdom.This new platform was to be used by Aviva's clients to manage their retirement and investment accounts online. The role involved:- Systems analysis and design- Software development and delivery- Application production support- Managing & mentoring a team of software engineers

Worked for GE's Network Solutions and Power Systems division as a Senior Solutions Consultant to major clients in Telecommunications, Power and Utilities. Key elements of the role included:- Providing technical pre-sales support for the GE Network Solutions' Sales team - Running customer training courses for a number of GE's products- Solution design, development and project delivery- Integration and post delivery support- Applying Six Sigma methodology to a number of internal projects
