Ram Ganesan is a serial entrepreneur, currently working at Kaboom AI, a new AI Product venture based out of New York, at the intersection of Sales, Service and CRM. He aims to recreate the magic and the culture that enabled the success of his previous entrepreneurial venture, Söoryen Technologies.His most recent role was as the Global Head of Digital Experience (DXP) at Encora, a top tier digital engineering services company, backed by Advent International and Warburg Pincus, two of the world’s leading Private equity firms.Ram founded Söoryen Technologies in 2012 with the sole intent to make people, employees and customers happy by providing innovative solutions for digital experience. In the pursuit of making people happy, he helped Söoryen achieve many awards, highly recognised being on Inc. 5000 list three years in a row (2016-2018), Deloitte Technology Fast 500 (2018), and ranked 19th on the NJ Fast 50 (2017). In August 2018, Söoryen Technologies joined hands with Encora to create the next chapter in global success.Ram’s passion for entrepreneurship and customer success helped position Söoryen Technologies to be a worthy competitor in the Digital Commerce space. Ram’s focus is on driving growth via digital and cloud consulting solutions using his core competence in sales, ecommerce and fintech. He is constantly building new partnerships with leading edge technology providers and key relationship experts for enterprise customers.Prior to Söoryen, Ram worked for several Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, CitiBank, AT&T, MetLife Insurance and 1800Flowers. His last position was Vice President of IT Application Development for 1800Flowers where he successfully managed a team of 100+ people and was accountable for all applications, software and offshore vendors. Prior to 1800Flowers, he was AVP of International IT for Metlife Insurance and EIMEA travelling across 12 countries regularly, leading a distributed global team of over 150 engineers, developers and managers.Ram was born and raised in Mumbai, India before moving to NYC in 1996. With strong academic credentials and a Graduate degree in Business from City University of New York-Baruch College - Zicklin School of Business. Ram enjoyed his stint at teaching and nurturing potential entrepreneurs in his role as Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at PACE University, New York.
