AI and emerging technology policy expert, with a passion for building strategic partnerships with industry, governments, international organizations, and academia to drive innovation and sustainable development.Outside of the office I actively participate in shaping the global policy and development agenda, and humbled to be invited to give keynote speeches and panel presentations at the United Nations headquarters in NY, the ITU in Geneva, the IAEA in Vienna, IEEE, CTU, Devex, the WSIS Forum, WTIS, global UNESCO Summits, the Microsoft Public Sector Center for Expertise, EY's Better Heroes podcast, TED Talks, the Africa Fintech Summit, the UNDP Global DPI Summit, as well as guest-lectures at several universities in the US and UK to train the next generation of scholars and practitioners.Prior to joining Visa, I led several initiatives at The World Bank and in collaboration with the IFC, developing insight to inform clients and Bank-financed operations on how to accelerate digital transformation, investment, and economic growth. I also co-led the World Bank’s Secretariat for Mainstreaming Digital and Disruptive Technologies, managed its thought leadership series on Digital Development, and served on various multi-stakeholder expert working groups including the UN-Interagency WG on AI, GlobalPolicy.AI, and contributing to the UN HLCP Paper on International Data Governance.

I also co-led the World Bank’s Secretariat for Mainstreaming Digital and Disruptive Technologies, manage its thought leadership series on Digital Development, and was appointed The World Bank’s IEG MAR focal point on Mobilizing Technology for Development.To support the Bank's digital strategy, I led development of The World Bank's Digital Development Guide, which highlights business lines, key product offerings for clients, and illustrative results stories to showcase the global impact of our work. Directed at governments and development finance stakeholders, this guide was publicly launched at IMF-World Bank Spring Meetings in 2023 and is now the flagship publication used to engage finance partners and help grow the project financing pipeline. -
